Saskatchewan at Montreal (-5.5)

Two good teams meeting after having played in a fantastic season opener. I really like the football Montreal is playing right now. Very good, but they do not look to be playing over their head. So long as they play a typical game at home, and Sasky plays a typical game -- meaning no second half as tremendous as they put together in the first meeting -- I very much like the chances for the Alouettes to cover.

I'm a little tempted to play the Under, simply because of how high-scoring the first game was, but that's just a gut reaction.

Calgary (-2.5) at BC

It really looks like Calgary does not have any sort of killer instinct this season -- see the second half of last week's game against Winnipeg and how the Stamps never put them away -- but with a spread under 3 it's pretty close to a win/loss bet. With Calgary having a good run defense and BC having quarterback issues, I like Calgary's chance for a win, even if they don't blow the Lions out.

Considering: Calgary at BC, O 48.5
I'm looking very, very hard at the Over in this game as long as it's under 49. BC remains well under the rest of the CFL pack in OU margin so far this season, so I look for them to get involved in a high-scoring game soon. No play yet for me, but a candidate.
